The restaurant
La Spaghetteria restaurant in Viterbo is a landmark for all who love good food and, above all, pasta—especially spaghetti. In fact, the restaurant offers more than 300 spaghetti recipes. Naturally, the menu is varied, and the restaurant is currently located in the historic centre of Viterbo, in a 17th-century building. It boasts an excellent panoramic view and offers the opportunity to enjoy meals on a spacious terrace.

The venue was founded in 1984 from an idea by Domenico Vittori and Gianfranco Carosi, under the name "La Cantinella Spaghetti & Champagne". From the very beginning, it stood out for its culinary creativity, and in 1985 it set its first Guinness World Record with 30 sauces prepared in 12 minutes. In those years, the spaghetti-based dishes numbered 120. In 1986, Gianfranco left the management of the restaurant and was replaced by his daughter Cinzia; under the new management, the number of spaghetti-based dishes reached 300.
In 2000, the Guinness World Record recognition was achieved during the celebration of the Santa Rosa festivities.
In 2010, the restaurant relocated to its new premises in Via Aurelio Saffi, in the historic centre of Viterbo. The venue was set up with careful consideration for the needs of disabled customers, who have access to a comfortable room equipped with accessible lavatories. On this occasion, the name was also changed, and La Spaghetteria was born, managed by Domenico and Dina's family along with Cinzia.
A location with a romantic atmosphere
The restaurant's new location is situated in a 17th-century building, which has naturally given the venue a particularly evocative and romantic touch. Guests can choose to enjoy their time in the dining room or have a candlelit dinner on the terrace, creating a particularly pleasant atmosphere. The staff are always courteous and attentive, ensuring that every evening is truly special.

The restaurant La Spaghetteria also offers a takeaway menu. You can order the dishes from the menu and enjoy them comfortably at home. Among the various options are spaghetti alla carbonara, Etruscan-style spaghetti, spaghetti with fish sauce in parchment, spaghetti with mussels, squid ink spaghetti, tricolore spaghetti with pesto, tomato, and mozzarella, and spaghetti with truffle and porcini mushrooms.
